I have always been inspired by creators like Tim Burton and a fan of alot of his movies. I create dolls and doll clothing for my other Etsy shop. Those dolls are my "normal" dolls. So one day I got creative and decided to create a creepy and weird cat and the end result was Catatonic Chloe. Whose photo appears here with the very Cheshire smile and bright green eyes. My cousin who worked as a ER nurse and I one night were chatting and strangely enough, we started coming up with ideas for more creepy and weird dolls.
Thinking of names, I thought of the phrase "pushing up daisies" referring to people who have passed and are now six feet under. I changed the spelling of daisies to daizies, just to be odd, and thought it made a cute, but weird line, for my weird doll creations. Thus Pushing Up Daizies was born, and PUDZ became the short version of the name.
No two dolls are ever alike. They are all one of a kind dolls.
